Mod Season’s Greeting – MFT Stamps

Welcome to spotlight day 3. Today, I have a clean and simple shaker card using the new Mod & Merry stamp set. Sometimes, I just want to focus on stamping with solid stamps.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Starting with an A2 panel of white cardstock, die cut with the largest Stitched Rounded Arch STAX Die-namics from the middle.
  2. Add a piece of acetate to the frame and add a double layer of foam tape.
  3. On the arched panel, stamp several images from Mod & Merry in a variety of colors. I used a tertiary color palette of blue-green, purple, and yellow. I started with the lightest ink color for the base layer and worked to the darkest color for each layer. These are solid stamps so make sure to “condition” the stamp before inking to get the best impression.
  4. Add shaker bits and close up the shaker.
  5. Adhere to an A2 card base.
  6. Stamp a sentiment from Christmas Wishes and die cut with a coordinating die. I LOVE sentiments with dies as I feel like the design possibilities open up.
  7. Add to the card front with a silver bow.

Hope you enjoyed this simple card that didn’t take long to make, but was fun to create. Thanks so much for stopping by!
